First Visit

Your initial appointment will consist of a comprehensive examination to determine your current dental health and to address any problems which may need immediate attention.

Next, we will discuss a plan of action and address any questions or concerns which you may have. We want to be sure you are aware of all the options and together we can determine the most effective treatment to assure a happy healthy smile for a lifetime.

At this time we can address any questions about insurance coverage, payment, medications, and scheduling. If you need to make arrangements for a payment plan, we can help you fill out the simple application.

We have all our forms online so you may fill them out before your visit. If you have any questions whatsoever, we are only too happy to help.

Comprehensive Dental Examination

Dr. Fester will explain the exam process and provide an extra-oral examination, which includes an evaluation of the thyroid, lymphatic system in the head and neck region, muscle of mastication, TMJ and skin cancer assessment.

Dr. Fester will then provide an intra-oral cancer examination by evaluating the tongue, cheeks, floor of mouth and back of throat, as well as the salivary glands. Next he will evaluate the occlusion and function, looking at the midline, overbite and over jet, as well as molar classifications. He will look at the movement and guidance of the temporomandibular joint.

Next, Dr. Fester will map your existing dental condition and pathology, including periodontal pocket measurements and recession.

Finally, he will review the necessary radiographs and digital imagery that our dental team takes or obtains from a prior dental provider.

Upon completion of the examination, Dr. Fester will provide you with an overall condition and/or recommendation if any treatment if necessary.

Financial Information

For your convenience we accept Visa and MasterCard. Payment is due at the time service is rendered. Please remember that you are responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility.

You may also apply for a payment plan through our partnership with Care Credit.  You can apply on line or we can assist you with your application on your next visit.
